You abandoned me,

I was just six weeks old,

You threw me away,

And now I’m truly broken.

I always saw you,
When I was
A child,
My heart would 
Miss a beat,
And you would 
Walk past,
Never seeing me,
And I never learnt
Your name.

I found a conker today,
A deep rustic brown,
The sunlight was shining on it,
And my thoughts of Autumn are plenty.
