Darcy is at over 1100 words, my longest piece to date, and I banged It out in approximately 3 hours, and that 3 hours was at the end of a shift in the factory. Not only is Darcy my longest piece, but it is also my favourite as well.
It seems that the more I write, the easier it gets. I wonder if this is so with all writers…
Set over two days, the story of Darcy is predominantly about a wedding, but as with all my writing, there’s a darkness to it.

And for those not in the know, a clue to the darkness is in the title, Darcy, which is a Gaelic word meaning dark.

Thank you for reading.
